Never thought RDD would need propaganda, but it seems like people need a reminder: this is the song that, through the years, united fandoms. I can send countless links of this song playing, and all fandoms sing along to it. No one doesn’t know RDD. It is the only requirement of being a kpop stan, regardless of your fandom… you HAVE to be able to partake in a RDD sing-along. It is THE bg anthem of kpop. Your favs dreamt of becoming kpop stars thanks to this song. It is so iconic that it’s banned during exam sessions in SK.
Lastly but mostly, it is THAT song bc it doesn’t discriminate, ANYONE can “Ring Ding Dong Ring Ding Dong, Ring Diggi Ding Diggi Ding Ding Ding, Ring Ding Dong Ring Ding Dong, Ring Diggi Ding Diggi Ding Ding Ding” and “We wanna go rocka, rocka, rocka, rocka, rocka (so fantastic), Go rocka, rocka, rocka, rocka, rocka (so elastic), Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, Elastic, elastic, elastic, elastic”… anyone bc it transcends the boundaries of languages, RDD is a feeling, a state of mind.

This post is about the constant 1-dimensional characterization that happens to women characters in fandom when they are not cute or nice. The last part especially is complaining about how once these women are made Mean Lesbians they are characterized entirely though their “endearingly rude” support of a relationship between two men.
